Happy New Year, for most it’s a phrase thrown off the cuff once a year without much thought, but for me it’s a phrase that elicits excitement. In a time when we’re all so busy that we can hardly breath, and each day runs into the next like a blur, we all stop to celebrate and acknowledge this one special day.
A new year is bright with possibilities. That’s why we expend so much energy to welcome it.
So while the news agencies are spending time looking back at what was, I want to spend my time looking ahead to what will be, what can be, and what I dream.
Thank you God for seeing me safely through another year so I can continue to dream.
